With a little more than a month to go before the official release of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, fans of the first-person shooter franchise should prepare to see the promotional wares from publisher Bethesda and developer MachineGames ramp up in the next few weeks. Speaking of which, the companies have now put out an incredibly short teaser trailer that promises a much larger gameplay reveal to come tomorrow on September 19, 2017.

As seen below in the gameplay teaser trailer for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, fans can get a quick look at the nightmarish world in which the game's protagonist BJ Blazkowicz inhabits, as he has traveled to an alternative history era to fight the Nazis who have taken over the United States of America in the 1960s. The clip's narrator is none other than Grace Walker, the leader of the American Resistance cell in New York, who tells Blazkowicz, "You wanna strike fear in the Nazis? You wanna cause some real havoc? Then you've come to the right woman."

Ever since Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus' reveal at E3 2017, Bethesda and MachineGames have been promoting the title on a consistent basis, showing off plenty of gameplay, including, but not limited to the ways in which players can dual-wield weaponry, the different locations of the United States that the Nazis have taken over, and a wide variety of BJ Blazkowicz absolutely annihilating the soldiers of the Third Reich. With this being the case, it will be interesting to see what the companies have in store for tomorrow's gameplay reveal.

Taking all of this into account, since Bethesda and MachineGames have already covered a lot of ground detailing the foundation of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus' base game, it's quite possible that the companies will offer fans a look at the forthcoming first-person shooter's different pieces of DLC. While the publisher and developer have previously mentioned that the season pass content will include three different protagonists to play as other than BJ Blazkowicz, there has been no official gameplay shown for the add-ons just yet. So, it stands to reason that the expansion materials could be on display in tomorrow's trailer.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is set to launch on October 27, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and will release sometime in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
