After leaving players hanging with the fate of action hero B.J. Blazkowicz back in 2014, MachineGames and Bethesda have finally released the next chapter of the planned trilogy, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Though the game has been out for a few weeks now at this point, Bethesda has announced its roadmap for continuing to support the popular first person shooter.

Known collectively as The Freedom Chronicles, the DLC will include four individual story campaigns centered around all new protagonists working to free America from its Nazi overlords. The first pack, known as Episode Zero, is available now to Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus season pass holders and introduces players to each of the three protagonists: Joseph Stallion, Jessica Valiant, and Gerald Wilkins.

The next three expansion packs are scheduled to arrive over the next four months:

  • The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe - Coming on December 14, the first expansion puts players in the shoes of Joseph Stallion, a former professional quarterback. During this campaign, players will be fighting Nazis from Chicago to outer space.
  • The Diaries of Agent Silent Death - As ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant, players will be infiltrating Nazi bunkers in California and discovering the deep rooted secrets of Operation San Andreas. This pack is planned for release on January 30.
  • The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins - The last pack sees U.S. Army Captain Gerald Wilkins fight the Nazis in Alaska to put an end of Operation Black Sun. Bethesda is targeting a March 2018 for this campaign release.

Bethesda has confirmed that these expansions will be adding over nine additional hours of content combined. Interested players can pick up the season pass for $24.99 right now or individually once each one is released. At this time, individual price points have not been announced.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus managed to wow the crowds at E3 this year, taking players on a tour of America from stops like Roswell to the streets of Manhattan. This DLC roadmap certainly continues that trend with stops to the far north, the west coast, and even space. Even without BJ Blazkowicz headlining this DLC, players should still expect plenty of violence based on developer MachineGames current track record with the series

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
