Harry Potter: Wizards Unite recently announced its first Community Day with nothing but a date and left the fanbase wondering exactly what to expect. Players could look to Pokemon GO Community Days for speculation, but that concept doesn't transfer over very cleanly to the Hogwarts-themed mobile AR game. The details have finally arrived though, and witches and wizards can now start planning for their very first Community Day.

First off, Wizards Unite is celebrating with a new Brilliant Event a few days before Community Day kicks off. The Brilliant event gets underway tomorrow and should help build some hype heading into the July Community Day.

Details about both events follow, so be sure to take careful note of the dates and bonuses available with each...

Community Day

The first-ever Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community Day starts on July 20th! Achievements

"We will be removing the “Visit 2 Countries” Achievement from the game while we try to fix a known issue with this Achievement not tracking when a player has visited a different country. Stay up to date with Release Notes to know when we have fixed this issue."

That lineup of bonuses definitely sounds exciting, though it will be interesting to see if the event turns out to be as successful as its Pokemon GO counterpart. The inclusion of shiny releases with each PoGO Community Day sort of make them a must-play event and the Wizards Unite event may not have as powerful of a draw.

Be sure to check back in the coming days for more Wizards Unite news, updates, and strategy guides. Until then, keep your wands at the ready, witches and wizards.
