Get Junior is one of the main quests in The Witcher 3. It takes place in Novigrad. Geralt is searching for Whoreson Junior to learn more information about Dandelion's whereabouts. Geralt gets more information about Whoreson Junior from his old friend/enemy, Sigi Reuven (whose real name is Sigismund Dijkstra). Dijkstra tells Geralt that Whoreson Junior has three main places in Novigrad: his house, his casino, and his arena. Geralt also asks Dijkstra about Dandelion.

That kickstarts a new quest - Count Reuven's Treasure. Geralt can either do the quest right away or come back to Dijkstra's bathhouse once he found Whoreson Junior. When Geralt ends the conversation with Dijkstra and leaves, the player gets 150 experience points. From now on, there are two possible ways how to proceed with the quest.

6 Option A: Geralt Works With Cleaver

Witcher 3 Cleaver

Geralt can join forces with one of the local crime bosses, Carlo Varese aka Cleaver. Cleaver and his dwarves are also looking for Junior. If Geralt decides to help them, it will help to move forward with the quest Gangs of Novigrad.

By joining forces with Cleaver, Geralt can search the arena and the casino openly. He and Cleaver's dwarves kill all of Junior's men. The order in which Geralt searches the three places - Junior's house, the casino, and the arena - doesn't matter. Once Geralt goes through the casino and the arena, he can return to Cleaver and Cleaver will pay him for his help. That will conclude the quest Gangs of Novigrad.

5 Option B: Geralt Searches Alone

Witcher 3 Junior House

Geralt can choose to search for Whoreson Junior alone instead. Once again, it doesn't matter which place he'll visit first. It's, however, for the best to progress in this order: Junior's house, then the casino, and, finally, the arena. In Junior's house, Geralt will find Cleaver's dwarves who had already trashed the place. There will be no Junior in the house but Geralt can loot Junior's belongings.

4 The Casino: Going Solo

Witcher 3 Casino

Things get more interesting when Geralt goes to the casino. Guards stand at the entrance and Geralt has to deal with them. He can either try to make a deal with them, threaten them (this will lead to a fight), pay them 200 crowns, or use Axii on them. Axii works only if Geralt has the Delusion level 2.

If Geralt doesn't want to draw attention to himself, he should get into the casino in a peaceful way. Once there, he can either play cards with the guests or ask about Whoreson Junior. If he plays Gwent with the casino's guests, he can win decent money (the bets are 1 to 100 crowns). If he asks about Whoreson Junior, a fight will immediately erupt.

In case Geralt plays Gwent and wins two matches, Whoreson's men will try to ambush him. Geralt then has to kill everybody in the casino. Geralt discovers a beaten halfling Rico in the casino in an interrogation room where the guards took Geralt if he won the two matches. Rico reveals that he's a spy and he learned that Junior works for the Redanians. If Geralt frees Rico, he then can get a reward from Francis Bedlam aka the King of Beggars in a quest called Honor Among Thieves.

3 The Arena: Going Solo

Witcher 3 Arena

Geralt can get into Junior's arena in multiple ways. Before he approaches the arena, he can come across a row. Thugs kill a man named Zdenek who was about to go to the arena to fight. Geralt can take his note and pretend to be Zdenek.

Alternatively, he can pay the guards at the arena's entrance 100 crowns, use Axii on them, or threaten them (which will lead to a fight). If Geralt fights the guards, he will then have to kill everyone inside right away.

If Geralt doesn't kill the guards, he will talk to a man named Igor the Hook. Geralt persuades Igor to let him fight - or he can make him angry and has to kill everyone. If Geralt goes to fight, he will face Gustav Roene first. He can kill Gustav or spare him once he's down. If Geralt spares him, Gustav will help him fight the next opponents - three dogs, three fighters, a wyvern, two endregas, and finally, a bear named Boris. If Geralt kills Gustav, he won't have to fight the three dogs, and the fight will skip to the three fighters instead.

Once Geralt wins all the fights, Whoreson Junior will appear. They have a brief conversation. Junior then orders Igor and his men to kill Geralt when he realizes that Cleaver's dwarves have gone into the arena. Geralt has to fight Igor and his men. He should loot Igor's body as he finds a key that will lead him to a secret stash behind a hidden door. There's a chest in the secret room and a note in it reveals that Whoreson Junior is working for King Radovid.

2 Combining The Two Approaches

If the player wants Geralt to play Gwent in the casino and complete the Gangs of Novigrad quest as well, it's possible. Geralt can play a single match of Gwent, leave when he wins, and raid the casino with Cleaver's dwarves. Alternatively, Geralt can play Gwent, kill everybody in the casino but one guard, leave, and come back with the dwarves who will raid the casino. The second option only becomes available after Geralt won the two Gwent matches and the guards took him to the interrogation room.

1 Meeting Another Old Friend

Witcher 3 Roche Radovid

Geralt tells Dijkstra what he learned about Junior's work for Radovid. Dijkstra will advise Geralt to talk to his old friend Vernon Roche. Roche reveals that he's about to meet his Redanian contact at the Oxenfurt Chess Club. Geralt joins him and they go together, or Geralt can go there by himself. Instead of Roche's contact, King Radovid waits at the club. He will speak to Geralt and reveal that Whoreson Junior has a house in Oxenfurt. Radovid will then ask Geralt for a favor, which will later start the quest A Favor For Radovid.

Geralt goes to Junior's house. Depending on his previous actions, the guards will either recognize him (if the player completed Gangs of Novigrad) and fight, or they will tell him about a secret passage to the house. Either way, Geralt will have to kill all the guards in the end. He will find Junior in his room and interrogate him. That will start an interlude in the form of Ciri's quest: Ciri's Story: Visiting Junior. Once Ciri's story over, Geralt can kill Whoreson Junior or spare his life. No matter what he chooses, the player will get 500 experience points. When Geralt leaves Junior's house, A Favor For Radovid will start. Once it's done, Geralt goes to talk to Priscilla, and that will conclude Get Junior.
