As far as fantasy games are concerned, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the longest ones. It can take hundreds of hours to finish thanks to so many quests the players can do. Not just in the main storyline, but there are also secondary side quests, treasure hunts, and, of course, actual Witcher contracts. The world of The Witcher 3 grew even larger thanks to the two DLCs - Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
The two DLCs presented not only fascinating storylines but also plenty of equally intriguing characters. Some of them have appeared in the base game, but most of them were new and familiar only to the readers of the series. The characters were largely different from one another, and as such, would also have different Chinese Zodiac signs.
12 Rat: Regis
Rats have a lot of positive character traits. They're quick-witted, clever, are curious about the world around them, and constantly seek new knowledge and challenges. Even more importantly, they make good friends and are loyal to those they consider members of their pack. Regis is always there for his friends when they need him, even if it puts him in danger. Oxes are introverted and serious people who take comfort in friends and family but can be quite lonely. Shani is no party animal, she has only a few people close to her, and since she's devoted to her job, she sometimes struggles with loneliness.
10 Tiger: Gaunter O'Dimm
Tigers can be dangerous and it's a not good idea to mess with them. They can be charming and easily convince other people to do what they want them to do. They're intelligent, intense, and ready to take down those who stand in their way. Gaunter O'Dimm might not draw too much attention to himself. Yet his manipulative nature and ability to trick people into giving him their souls are what makes him truly dangerous.
9 Rabbit: Barnabas-Basil
Barnabas-Basil is Geralt's majordomo at Corvo Bianco. He has many traits typical for Rabbits. Rabbits enjoy spending their time surrounded by friends and family. They have strong ties to their relatives. They enjoy staying at home and entertaining people since they're compassionate and sincere.
Barnabas-Basil makes it his life mission to make other people feel as good in their homes as they possibly can. He quickly befriends Geralt and is there for the Witcher when he needs him.
8 Dragon: Anna Henrietta
Anna Henrietta rules Toussaint, and as a result, she's a fierce and self-confident person. Dragons are natural-born leaders who are good at giving orders. They're charismatic but can also be a bit egoistic sometimes. Anna Henrietta's subjects love her, so it seems she's doing a good job as a ruler. She's warm to her friends and quickly befriends people, but sometimes acts as if the whole world revolved around her.
7 Snake: Syanna
Snakes are intelligent and hard-working people but they can be dangerous as well. They're charming and seductive which makes people follow them. Syanna uses her considerable intelligence to plot her sister's assassination and the death of other people who wronged her. In order to achieve her goals, she seduces Dettlaff and makes him fall for her. Syanna could have used her brain for good but she chose to use it to wreak havoc and chaos instead.
6 Horse: Olgierd Von Everec
Horses don't like it when other people try to tie them down. They like to roam free, are energetic people who enjoy traveling. They're charming but can struggle when it comes to building long-term relationships. Olgierd von Everec wants to enjoy everything life has to offer, and he doesn't like to stay at one place for too long. He's good at persuading people to follow him but has driven away from the two most important people in his life - his wife and his brother.
5 Goat: Iris Von Everec
Iris von Everec hasn't had a happy life. She was a talented painter and painting was her only joy. Her husband mistreated Iris and killed her father. In the end, once she died, Iris went to a unique Painted world she had created for herself.
Goats are creative people by nature so this Chinese Zodiac sign is a good match for Iris. They can be insecure and full of anxiety. Iris grew sadder and emotionally imbalanced as time progressed, but to be fair to her, she was this way because of her husband's actions.
4 Monkey: Vlodimir Von Everec
Even though he's a ghost, Vlodimir has a strong impact on the events of The Witcher 3 DLC Hearts of Stone. For one, he helps bring Shani and Geralt back together as lovers. Vlodimir is a typical Monkey. People born in this sign are energetic, upbeat individuals who thrive at having fun. They like being active and think of themselves before others. Vlodimir was all about fun, he just wanted to drink, fight, and seduce beautiful women. That's why he was so excited about going to a wedding in Geralt's body.
3 Rooster: Captain Damien De La Tour
Captain Damien de la Tour doesn't seem too sympathetic at first but he's a good guy. Damien just wants to serve his people and his ruler to the best of his abilities. He doesn't panic in stressful situations and tries to come up with functional solutions to problems. It's easy to rely on Roosters since they're analytical, straightforward, and practical people who don't run away from trouble. Instead, they face them head-on, just like Damien does.
2 Dog: Dettlaff
Regis's good friend Dettlaff is full of contradictions. He's honest and loyal to his friends as he helped nurse Regis back to health. At the same time, Dettlaff lashes out when he feels upset, angry, or betrayed. That's typical for people born in this sign who are prone to mood swings. They're sensitive and temperamental people. Since they're loyal to others and trust them, they take it hard when somebody makes a fool of them. Because of Syanna's betrayal, Dettlaff decides to send vampires to attack a city full of innocent people.
1 Pig: Orianna
Pigs are perfectionists who enjoy finer things in life. Orianna finances an orphanage to be able to visit it and feed on the children's blood. Pigs are good companions but only until someone crosses them. Orianna is friendly to Geralt when they meet him at her party, but she later lets him know she has very little respect for human lives. This Zodiac sign is intelligent, a trait necessary for Orianna to stay hidden and not to reveal to everyone that she's a vampire.
