One fan has shown off their impressive collection of Wii U games, saying that they own every title released in North America. Following the enormous success of the Wii, the Wii U was released in 2012 as the next home console for Nintendo. While it failed to achieve the same success as its predecessor, it still left behind a significant legacy, as this latest collection of games evidence.

Following the release of the Wii U, Nintendo released a number of popular games on the home console, with some of these making use of the system's gamepad. A few first-party titles found on the Wii U include Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, just to name a few. In addition, the popular Splatoon series got its start on the system. Recently, one gamer showed off a wide range of games that the Wii U supported.

Taking to TikTok, a collector known as phoenixresale shared an incredible clip of a part of their video game collection. Specifically, this video from the TikTok user showcased the entire lineup of Wii U games that they had managed to acquire. Impressively, they noted the total number of games was 164, which they said was the entire collection of Wii U titles released in North America over the system's lifetime.

In the clip, phoenixresale panned the camera to show the extent of his collection. While the expected first-party titles, such as New Super Mario Bros. U, were visible, many third-party offerings were on display. In addition, they claimed that some of these games could sell for far more than their original retail prices. For example, they said Game & Wario could sell for $149.99. Furthermore, they claimed that the rare Devil’s Third sold for upwards of $400.

It is worth noting that some Wii U games never came to North America, meaning that the total amount of games for the system is higher than 164. In addition, this collection only contains physical copies of games, meaning that titles only released digitally on the Nintendo eShop are not included. Nevertheless, this collection shown off by phoenixresale is impressive, to say the least. Since uploading this clip to TikTok, numerous gamers have been intrigued by this incredible lineup of Wii U titles. In fact, the video has already gained 13,000 views and over 928 likes, with many commenting on the rarity of Devil’s Third.

It is intriguing to see this many games from the Wii U era in one place. While the console underperformed in comparison to its predecessor, the Wii, and its successor, the Switch, the Wii U still had some well-received games, as this collection from phoenixresale attests. With this collection of 164 Wii U games complete, it will be interesting to see if it inspires other gamers to give some of these previous generation titles a try.
