Super Mario Bros first came out in 1985 for Famicom in Japan and a year later on arcade machines. At the time, it was one of the most detailed games that operated extremely well compared to everything else. Moreover, it was probably the first game that featured a character like Mario, who looked iconic and had a story with a clear goal from the start.

Super Mario Odyssey is probably one of the most defining titles of the franchise due to its unique concept. The game offers many amazing environments and quite a few different boss fights. Moreover, Donkey Kong has already stolen his ex-girlfriend Pauline, and it would hurt a lot if he loses Peach to a smartass like Link. Mario's jealousy is nothing but love for his princess and is quite understandable.

A partner who understands their lover's needs and cares about their feelings should be the ultimate goal of a relationship. Mario has hit the jackpot in that case, as Princess Peach is okay with everything he does. The famous plumber goes all around the Mushroom Kingdom wreaking havoc and stealing coins, but your majesty is all fine with his actions.
He can manhandle Koopas, squash little Goombas, and kill plants in the sewer lines to succeed without fear of getting arrested or facing any punishment. Moreover, checking out Princess' peach is an added bonus.
6 Real Mario Party
Mario Party games have evolved a lot since they came out in 1998. The latest one is Mario Party Superstars and features over 100 different minigames, all jam-packed into one title. The game also features characters such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey Kong, Daisy, Waluigi, Birdo, Rosalina, and more.
Talking about in-game characters and their addiction to party games, the meme above may depict reality. After all, Mario mindlessly runs to save the princess but never takes a moment to think about what she might be doing in Bowser's castle.

A true relationship is when two people try their best to make it work and stand tall in the end. It is about cherishing the moments and adapting to each other's needs. However, Mario has gotten the worst of it because Peach's demands are unrealistic.

At the beginning of Super Mario Bros in 1985, players wondered about the main difference between green and red Mario. However, everybody learned over time that the shorter red one was Mario while the tall green one was his brother Luigi. Still, there's a dilemma as to who deserves Peach's praise.
After all, they have put the same effort into saving the princess. So does the cover boy get your majesty, or does his less-known brother get to taste the cake? Who cares as long as the Mushroom Kingdom has power-ups like Double Cherry?
3 She Cares About Mario
If love is one thing, it is the willingness to push your partner to achieve goals. However, Princess Peach has taken that to another level by letting Bowser kidnap her repeatedly over the last 35 years. She can easily beat him, Bowser Jr, Mario, Luigi, Link, Megaman, and anyone in Super Smash Bros.
Still, she allows herself to play a damsel in distress to give her man a motive in his life. Mario is a hopeless plumber who has nothing else to do but clean the pipelines of weird spinies and flies.

The scooter was probably one of the coolest additions to Super Mario Odyssey, as it allowed players to travel from one location to another quickly. But who knew, Mario is also using the same one to travel around the Mushroom Kingdom, just swinging free and enjoying his time?
When Princess calls him, he obliges and runs to her without losing a second, especially when King Toadstool has gone out to handle other businesses. Little did the poor old man know that a passionate plumber had arrived at his castle to spend time with his daughter.

Princess Peach is a great cook and loves baking cake for Mario. However, the plumber has traveled to different worlds, beat scary monsters, and jumped off deadly traps to save her. The least he deserves is something more than just a dessert with cream and strawberries.
Still, they say, "It's the thought that counts," so Mario lets it slide and gobbles the cake with a smile. Moreover, baking goods are quite rare in video games. After all, Portal is famous for its quote, "The cake is a lie."
