Currently, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for pre-order at three stores. The three places that players can pre-order this game are at GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and on the Nintendo eShop. While Amazon does not currently have an official listing for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it is certainly possible that they will have it listed for pre-order at some point between now and when the game comes out.

Players should be aware that currently there are no pre-order bonuses that come with Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While there are no bonuses for pre-ordering, players who purchase the digital version off of the Nintendo eShop will get up to 300 Gold Points. Gold Points can be used by players for digital purchases on the Nintendo eShop.

Lately, a lot of AAA games like Forspoken and Dead Space have been raising eyebrows with their increased price tag for standard editions going from $60 to $70 which is similiar to what is happening with games on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Nintendo recently confirmed that this will not be the standard price for all of their games going forward.

Will There Be a Collector's Edition?

Having a special collector's edition for new releases has been a standard with video games for some time now, and Nintendo is not breaking from tradition on this front. During the Nintendo Direct on February 8th, Nintendo announced that there will be a collector's edition for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This edition of the game will cost $130 and comes with the following extras along with a physical copy of the game.

  • An Artbook
  • A Steelbook case
  • An Icon Art Steel Poster
  • A set of four pins

If players want the collector's edition of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they will want to move fast as special editions of highly anticipated games tend to sell out incredibly fast. While some collector's editions will come with in-game digital bonuses, that is not the case for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
