Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood draws ever closer to its release on February 4, and now PC gamers can get a look at the minimum and recommended requirements for running the game. The game's developer, Nacon, has revealed the official PC requirements for Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood and the good news is that the requirements won't have fans scrambling to upgrade parts.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is an action-RPG based on the tabletop RPG of the same name and will see players exploring the World of Darkness as Cahal, a man with shapeshifting powers. In the few Werewolf: The Apocalypse gameplay trailers that have been revealed, Cahal is shown shifting playstyles to mirror his current form, whether that be man, wolf, or werewolf. If his rage meter is filled he will go into an unstoppable frenzy, and fortunately all of the bestial action can be experienced by PC gamers with average computer builds.

The minimum specifications to play the game require an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-8370 with 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 or AMD Radeon HD 7790 GPU. The recommended specs are a bit higher, suggesting an Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with 8GB of RAM. Recommended GPUs include the Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 and the AMD Radeon R9 290. Playing Werewolf: The Apocalypse certainly won't be as demanding as past releases such as Project CARS 2, which supports up to 12K resolution and requires an Intel Core i7 6700K to run at its best settings.

Although these specifications are helpful for players to get an idea of what settings will run the game, Nacon has yet to reveal the frame rate and resolution these specs will target. There is also no mention of how much space Werewolf: The Apocalypse will require to install. The PC version of the game will release on the same date as console versions but it will launch exclusively on the Epic Games Store.

Those excited about Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood will probably already know that other games in the World of Darkness setting are due to release this year as well. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will most likely release in late 2021 due to development setbacks that caused it to stray from a tentative release date as early as October of last year. Vampire: The Masquerade adheres more closely to its tabletop RPG roots than Werewolf: The Apocalypse and will include at least 11 different Vampire disciplines to choose from based on Clan affiliation.

While waiting for the release of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, fans can check out a series of Endron story ads on YouTube that feature the in-game Earth-draining corporation, Endron International. The company's smug narration should get fans ready to set out on the prowl as Cahal and shred some Endron baddies.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood will release on February 4, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
