This Week in Mobile Gaming

This week we test out our ninja skills, receive an updated version of some revenge seeking birds, get some 18-wheel road rage as well as look forward to another iteration of a popular war franchise and a nostalgia inducing hedgehog release.

Ninjatown: Trees of Doom: This is an addicting casual platformer where you guide your ninja as high as you can up the trees. Avoid baddies and obstacles to beat your friends' high scores. You can share your scores via Twitter to put the word out that you mean business. Snag this in the iTunes app store for .99 cents.

Angry Birds To Nest On Consoles With A Focus On Multiplayer

Angry Birds: I know, I know, this isn't new. However, there are 15 new levels and a new bird to dominate those ugly pigs with! If you have Angry Birds already, be sure to update. If you haven't, download it now for a buck or try the lite version if you're unsure - but you shouldn't be.

Truckers Delight: Based off of a popular (and super NSFW) internet video, this mobile game features Jack the truck driver. His intention is to chase the "Alpha Chick" while dodging vehicles and outrunning the police.  With fun old school 16-bit graphics and social features, this game can be on your iPhone for $2.99.

Call of Duty: Black Ops: It has been announced that Glu will be developing the next Call of Duty iPhone app, which will be their fourth altogether. Not much information has been released yet, but according to their press release the game will come out in conjunction with the Activision and Treyarch's HD console version this November. As more information rolls out, you can be sure to find it here on Game Rant!

Sonic 4: Our speedy blue hedgehog friend is no stranger to the mobile market, and we've brought you the info in the past. Well it's been leaked that he will be back with a mobile release of Sonic 4. The games do play quite nicely on the iPhone, so it may be safe to assume the next installment won't be disappointing. Pricing and official release are TBA.
