A new blooper reel for Jenna Ortega's Wednesday has been unveiled by Netflix. The clips feature plenty of line reading flubs, corpsing, and the cast fooling around on set.

Wednesday features plenty of dark comedy, but Ortega frequently has to play the straight man in the show. Sure, Wednesday inspired a dance trend set to a Lady Gaga song, but Ortega performs it so earnestly that it's just charming. Wednesday is simply a very dour and sarcastic character - her humor is biting, which fits her well. She is full of woe, after all. Even after her character development, Wednesday prefers to keep her emotions in check.

Now, Netflix has finally shown off the Wednesday blooper reel. The reel features plenty of footage of Ortega breaking character whenever she flubs a line and moments such as Emma Myers, who plays Enid, breaking character as she bursts into dance, but that may be perfectly in character. Even Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman get a moment to shine in the blooper reel as they both break out into song.

Netflix probably won't release any more blooper reel footage since it emphasized that this was the "FULL Wednesday blooper reel." On the other hand, the reel does seem to focus on some of the fan-favorite characters in Wednesday, such as Wednesday, Enid, and Morticia. There's possibly more footage out there, but it's unlikely it'll get released anytime soon. Still, fans can dream that the outtakes from Wednesday's dance may get released someday.

Some of Wednesday's funniest quotes rely on Wednesday's characteristic deadpan humor. Like the other Addams family members, she loves the macabre and the unconventional. Her first crush, she notes, was Sartre, who famously wrote, "Hell is other people." This look into Wednesday's behind-the-scenes instead plays into some more traditional forms of humor, like slapstick. It's just a fun little departure from the series.

It's also a way for Netflix to keep the show in the news as fans await a Wednesday season 2 announcement. The show has been a smash hit for the streaming service, and it's clear that the writers have plenty of ideas for where future seasons of the series could go. For now, it looks like Netflix wants to keep any news about season 2 under wraps. Netflix hasn't indicated whether or not there will be a season 2, but the cast and crew on Wednesday seem confident that it'll get one, and there are many reasons Netflix would be inclined to renew.

Wednesday is streaming on Netflix.
