It's that time of year again when gaming giants from around the world gather to showcase its various announcements and upcoming games to its fans around the world during E3. Nintendo is hosting its Nintendo Direct E3 2018 press conference on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 9 AM PT, where the company is expected to show off its upcoming projects.

The centerpiece of Nintendo's conference is easily Super Smash Bros., as the company is also hosting an invitational tournament. Fans may expect a new trailer, and perhaps some new characters to be showcased, but otherwise, Nintendo has been tight-lipped about the next installment in the popular franchise.

The next biggest item on the agenda is Pokemon Let's GO Pikachu and Eevee. Hopefully, it'll have a huge presence at the show, but fans can expect functionality features or maybe a new trailer. There's also a laundry list of gamers rumored to appear, such as Yoshi, Fire Emblem, potential Super Mario Odyssey DLC, as well as a couple of surprises. Check out the official live stream here:

Although Nintendo has maintained a tight ship, one thing that leaked was a number of games set to be revealed for Nintendo Switch, which includes Paladins, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Monster Hunter Generations, Ultimate, FIFA 19, Starlink, Mario Tennis Aces, Killer Queen Black, and Overcooked 2. The most prestigious title joining the aforementioned is Fortnite, which is rumored to release after Nintendo's conference.

As far as hardware goes, Nintendo is expected to unveil its Switch remodel and perhaps even a new version of the Nintendo 3DS. Rumors also indicate the Nintendo 64 could be making a comeback with a Classic Editon model, especially after the SNES and NES Classic Editions gained a lot of momentum. However, don't be surprised if Nintendo does decide to forego hardware altogether, as the Nintendo Switch is still doing strong.

Regardless of what Nintendo does end up promoting during its direct conference, it'll most likely be a boon to Nintendo fans around the world. We've also received word there'll be at least one big announcement, so tune in above, Ranters!
