A couple of days ago, Ubisoft released Watch Dogs Legion, the latest installment in the Watch Dogs franchise serving as the third main game. Similar to its predecessors, Watch Dogs Legion features an open-world environment set in a dystopian post-Brexit London and a nearly endless amount of things for players to do. But there is still an endpoint for the core story.

On average, Watch Dogs Legion will likely take between 20-30 hours to beat, depending on whether players have enabled the permadeath mode. It's also worth pointing out that players who are just after completing the main story without delving too much into the game's side quests can complete the game at a shorter time, around 15-20 hours. On the flip side, completionists who are interested in recruiting everyone and trying out the best combination of operatives available could take longer than the average time.

Watch Dogs Legion is also broken down into multiple chapters that require players to complete a series of missions. Although each chapter's length varies, the average time to complete heavily depends on the team of characters that players assemble to fulfill each mission. Thankfully, Watch Dogs Legion offers a nearly unlimited number of NPCs for players to recruit, so finding the right person with the appropriate skill set may not be that difficult.

Meanwhile, it appears that Watch Dogs Legion is getting mostly positive reviews from players and critics. While some attention has been given to the game's depiction of London and its immersive story, much of the praise for Watch Dogs Legion focuses on its vast open-world environment that encourages players to explore the game at their own pace, assemble a diverse crew of their choosing, and create their own stories and experiences in the game. Now, for those interested in what's in store for the game in the future, Ubisoft revealed that the Watch Dogs Legion's season pass would include a DLC story expansion that will let players control Aiden Pierce from Watch Dogs and Wrench from Watch Dogs 2.

Additionally, Watch Dogs Legion is releasing to the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 on November 10 and 12, respectively. Luckily for those who already own the current-gen versions, Ubisoft offers a free upgrade, which means that players won't have to pay for the game again should they decide to purchase either the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S.

Watch Dogs Legion is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
