According to rumors, Ubisoft has a few surprises to share at its annual E3 press conference. Unfortunately for the company, one of its bigger surprises leaked out a few days early as Watch Dogs Legion gameplay details arrived sooner than intended. While Ubisoft later confirmed the reports with its own tease, the floodgates have apparently opened with even more details arriving prior to the show.

The latest leak involves the games box art from a Twitter user named dennisK_90. As expected, Watch Dogs Legion has multiple editions for fans to pick from, all of which don't really provide any clarification as to what the game will be. Each cover features multiple character wearing different masks, with the standard edition showing London's own Big Ben clocktower in the background.

With London apparently confirmed as the game's new location, the inclusion of many faceless characters also lends validation to the earlier leaks that players would be able to switch to any NPC characters they wanted to at any time. While the benefits of doing this are still unknown, the reports indicate that selecting certain characters will evolve the story in new ways as well.

Whatever the case may be, Ubisoft is preparing to answer most of the questions that have surfaced following these numerous leaks later today during its E3 2019 showcase. Alongside Watch Dogs Legion, fans can expect to see more news on games like The Division 2, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and a surprise or two. Many fans expect to see an Assassin's Creed announcement of some sort, whether that's the heavily rumored Ragnarok or upcoming DLC for Assassin's Creed Odyssey is anyone guess.

Watch Dogs Legion is currently in development without a release date or confirmed platforms as of right now.
