Success in Call of Duty: Warzone requires a mastery of weapons, tactics, and maneuvering throughout complex environments. Players practice match after match as they scavenge for tools, infiltrate buildings, and take on skilled enemies. One skill that many players don't take the time to master is parachuting, but this can often be a vital Call of Duty: Warzone skill.

While every Call of Duty: Warzone drop includes parachuting down to a location, many players consider that the extent of its possibilities. The parachute is designed to allow safe gliding from large buildings, and players have the advantage of a never-ending supply of chutes. While it is useful on the drop, the parachute holds several secrets that players can easily take advantage of in Call of Duty: Warzone.

In a video posted by BrunoJohn1117 on Reddit, the Call of Duty: Warzone content creator showcases a unique parachute trick. This content creator has been posting videos to help players master the parachute, and in his latest clip, he travels from the top of a building all the way to Stadium. The clip shows him on top of a large building located on the outer edges of Downtown. He leaps from the building and immediately turns sideways, putting himself into a sharp glide. Using the freelook camera, he shows that he is gliding quickly at an angle and is perfectly lined up for one of the upstairs windows of the Stadium. In the clip, he claims this is a great way to sneak up on campers who often guard staircases within the building.

In the comments, players point out that this strategy may also have a major weakness. Players seen gliding along sideways at the "speed of a floating balloon" can easily be shot down by accurate players. With Call of Duty: Warzone beaming loadouts and a wide selection of sniper rifles, this is an extremely vulnerable position.

Players believe this is a generally interesting strategy, but one fan keenly points out that the window in question has a zip line access point. This almost defeats the purpose of gliding into the window, but it does offer an alternative entry into Call of Duty: Warzone's stadium.

One key lesson to learn from this clip is the strategy of gliding sideways. This is a trick that many players use to travel further, but if used, players need to maintain freelook and monitor their travel path. Call of Duty: Warzone tricks often can give players an advantage in the most unusual situations, so this is not a completely useless ability to master.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
