Call of Duty: Warzone is filled with strange glitches and bugs that can easily be exploited by cheating players. While merging into textures is a common Warzone exploit, this player managed to accidentally go one step further by becoming invisible and invincible.

After ascending onto a roof, this fan had little idea of what was going on. With Warzone enemies surrounding him, but not firing, there was a moment of confusion, then sudden realization. This bug is new and it is currently unknown how it gets triggered, but fans are definitely worried that it could have some lasting side effects.

The video was posted by Reddit user GhostlyViber which shows them quickly ascending a building to assault an enemy squad. Upon his landing, he climbs over the edge to realize that he is not being shot at. As he follows an operator around the corner, he notes that they don't seem to be able to see him. It is unclear if he can fire or harm other players while this bug is active, but in the comments, he does report that he was invincible to damage in Warzone for the remainder of the match.

Some fans are blaming this strange Warzone bug on server lag, stating that he probably was out of sync with the game itself. It is not that he is invisible as much as his body is currently located elsewhere on the server. This is part of why he is unable to be damaged, but still maintains full control of the camera itself.

While the bug does seem to be a rare occurrence, some fans share some concern that it could lead to greater exploits. It is unknown to what extent an affected player can interact with the environment, but simply being able to communicate invisible information to a teammate would be a vital breach of fairness in the game.

Still, this is a rarely reported bug. It is very probable that this is a simple case of the game's camera being separate from the model and not taking the gun or equipment with it. While players have no fix for the Warzone bug as of yet, their best recommendation is to simply report it to Activision and continue to document its occurrence. Until it is fixed, it could be used as a neat way to explore the map in a more relaxed setting than standard battle royale matches would normally allow.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
