In Warhammer Vermintide 2, players will want to start knocking out collectibles as soon as possible. Collecting these rewards has the immediate benefit of upgrading the prize's quality at the end of the match. If players find all of them, they get a huge boost.
Even with the prize aside, players won't be able to say they've fully completed a level without every tome and grimoire collected. Some books can be found by curious minds but others require an awful lot of experimentation to unlock. Thankfully, the Warhammer Vermintide 2 community has done the legwork, showing collectors where each piece is in Into The Nest.
Tome #1
After getting inside, players are confronted with a hop down a small cliff through a broken banister. Instead of falling all the way down, make the jump to the right.
Follow this path the entire way down to find a tome presented in front of a large structure. Solo players can use bots to pick up these items for them if they'd like.
Grimoire #1
When the words 'Duraz Stomez' appear on the screen, note the scaffolding on the right with an outdoor area just beyond it. Instead of going down both sets of stairs, only go down the first, then leap onto the scaffolding a head outside.
Follow the straightforward path that leads to a structure similar to the last tome. Instead of it being in front, go inside and find the grimoire in a crate toward the back. The game can be long enough as it is, but missing these grimoires is passing up on easy loot, be sure to get them.
Grimoire #2
Players will have to pull a lever to open a pathway through some cogs. Do not take that pathway. Instead, take two sets of stairs that go above and behind the cogs. Look to the left and spot a ladder that leads down.
Take this ladder and then the next one that goes underneath the cogs. Look left and spot a treasure chest with the second grimoire in it. If the tide of enemies gets too strong, equip some gear with the best traits to cut them down.
Tome #2
From the last area, exit out of an iron gate. Immediately in front of this gate is another structure with a stone pathway going around it.
Take this path from either the left or the right and find the second tome inside of a smashed crate. Using a superior career class can make this entire process much easier.
Tome #3
Before entering the area called 'Kron Khaz,' there is a nice view to take in over the small mining area. The final book needed is inside of a metal minecart on the right side.
Before exiting the area, turn around and make a slight left down the tracks to find it. Getting all the tomes and grimoires on legendary of higher difficulty will give players the best odds of acquiring red veteran loot boxes.
