Often, fantasy franchises tend to inspire fan creations that gain as much popularity as the original IP. For example, the live show Critical Role has garnered a following that has gained recognition from the creators of Dungeons and Dragons. Now, a group of Warhammer players have come together for their own project. Recently, this Ruinsong Order announced the publication of its novel, Journeys Through Faladon: The Titan Divide which is coming to Amazon next month.
In 2019, Warhammer lore YouTuber MajorKill announced a partnership with the website ForgeFiction that would allow his community to collaborate on their story. After a year of writing, over 40 writers have contributed to Journeys Through Faladon. Now, the group of contributors is planning to release the book on Amazon on July 29.
According to the novel's website, the story follows Ürbon, a raider that wields a legendary rune axe as he navigates the world of Faladon on a quest against darkness. Testimonials on the website praised The Titan Divide's detailed world building, and "vibrant" cast of characters.
As several fans have noted, Journeys Through Faladon: The Titan Divide is an impressive collaboration between many members of the Warhammer community. Although Faladon is its own realm with countless unique settings, the unity of the world and its riveting narrative, this book is sure to attract both Warhammer lovers and fans of fantasy RPGs.
