Neocore Games has announced that the long-awaited Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Sororitas DLC will be released on PC in November. Warhammer 40K Inquisitor was originally released back in 2018 and has since received regular updates to create a sprawling action-RPG set in the 41st century.

Warhammer has seen a resurgence in recent years, from a new revision to the popular tabletop game, to multiple video games being released across all platforms. Even Henry Cavill took to Instagram to showcase his 40K army. With the 40K: Inquisitor DLC being announced over a year ago, fans will no doubt be eager to discover what the Sororitas DLC has to offer when it releases.

The Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor Sororitas DLC will initially release on November 28 for Steam players. The content will feature a new playable class, an Inquisitor with an Adepta Sororitas background. The additional package will also bring new weapons, items, and perks into the game. Perks will take the form of An Embodied Saint form and Acts of Faith empowerments, both of which can be utilized by players to buff their characters to defeat the more challenging enemies seen throughout the game. The Adepta Sororitas, also known as the Sisters of Battle, will be accompanied by all-new weapons and item types with Flamers, Blessed Blades and Power Mauls being added into the mix.

While the news does come hot on the heels of Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor receiving a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S release last month, Neocore has prioritized the PC release meaning console players will have a little longer before diving into the expansion. Some folks will undoubtedly be disappointed to see that the DLC for the PlayStation and Xbox versions won’t release alongside the PC version, but there is still a lot happening in the world of Warhammer 40,000 to tide them over.

With the recent Warhammer Skulls Showcase, Games Workshop has revealed the next batch of games that players can expect to get their hands on as the Warhammer 40K video game universe continues to grow. Each title will be as varied as the last, with Boltgun shaping up to be a fast-paced, brutal first-person shooter that looks more like a Doom sequel, while Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is an isometric turn-based RPG.

The next game due out is Warhammer 40:000: Darktide, which releases on November 30. The upcoming first-person shooter is being developed by Fatshark, the team behind Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The game aims to combine the frenetic co-op action seen in the previous title and Darktide has already seen comparisons with Left 4 Dead. The game is set to release on PC and Xbox Series X/S, as well as appearing on the Xbox Game Pass service from day one.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and, Xbox Series X/S.
