Among live-service games that reliably deliver excellent content on an impressive schedule, Warframe ranks among the few and best. Whether it's one of the game's eight core expansions, it's consistent patches and updates, or more general DLC, something's always in the works for Warframe. 2021 won't be changing that, according to Warframe developer Digital Extremes. In fact, Warframe players can expect content as soon as February and even more around March.

According to Digital Extremes, Warframe players will receive the Nighwave Intermission 3 update on February 1. The announcement was made during Friday's Devstream 151. Nightwave Intermission 3 will feature a variety of content. That includes returning rewards and new challenges, or Nightwave Creds for players who have already earned the rewards care of a new duplicate protection system. Also in February is Ticker's Star Days 2021, which will run from the 11th through the 24th, and Lunar New Year content, too.

In March, Digital Extremes says players can look forward to Waframe's "next major update." The list of new content includes Corpus Railjack, Railjack Re-Revisited, the new Sevagoth Warframe, Zephyr Deluxe, and even more content. Digital Extremes also broke down Sevagoth's abilities, including a ghostly melee-focused Shadow Form, which can be seen in the devstream.

That's just a glimpse at all of the content plans that Digital Extremes revealed during its recent devstream. There are a variety of cosmetics, quality of life changes, and assorted other bits of content coming over the next couple of months, too. And that's to say nothing of what the next big content expansion will eventually be. Warframe players can, at the very least, always expect Digital Extremes to be working on more content for the relatively near future.

Warframe is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
