The next update for Warframe is well on its way, and Digital Extremes has released a 30 minute gameplay demo to show off everything that Heart of Deimos has to offer. This will be the latest update since Dead Protocol went live in June for PC, bringing a much appreciated slew of new areas and enemies to face off against with players' favorite space ninjas.

This latest demo comes as a part of TennoCon 2020, a sort of digital convention organized by Digital Extremes to show off the new content coming to Warframe this year to replace the usual live show hosted every year. Heart of Deimos specifically will be arriving to all platforms on August 25th, bringing all new missions and a new open world for fans who may have run to the end of their own personal objectives already.

Beginning by showing off the new open-world gameplay of Heart of Deimos, the demo shows off the stunning landscape of the new infested planet, Deimos. In addition to adding a huge new world for players to explore, this new update also improves Warframe's story with heavy new lore drops about the nature of the Tenno and the source of their powers. However, even with some fantastic new characters like Loid/Otak, the best new additions looks to be the new enemy types and mountable creatures around the world of Deimos.

One thing that the familiar level design of Warframe and other similar titles does wonderfully is the way that the world this update takes place in completely integrates with the main enemy faction of the world, the Infested.  The major difference between Heart of Deimos and the rest of Warframe's relation to the Infested is that thanks to the planet being completely overtaken by the infestation, there are brand new enemies to fight. One of the most impressive is an infected creature that doesn't have an official name, which has a very unique style of combat that requires the player to break its infected shoulders in order to quickly disarm it and bring the creature down quickly.

Everything that the new demo shows off, from new enemies to giant mosquito monsters that can be ridden around the open-world, Heart of Deimos is looking to be a substantial addition to Warframe. This isn't even getting into every new enemy type and the ancient machine faction that was almost accidentally revealed, or the overpowered mode players can activate to wipe out waves of enemies. Heart of Deimos is absolutely packed full of content, with new Warframe enemies and loot to farm, there is plenty for players to enjoy.

Heart of Deimos is set to release on August 25th, for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
