Waluigi has long been viewed as a sorely neglected regular character out of all of Nintendo's properties, but that hasn't stopped him from becoming an internet sensation. The lanky, purple-clad antagonist has become iconic amongst Nintendo fans, with memes of Waluigi regularly making rounds on social media. One group of friends decided to show their love for Waluigi in a big way in creating an entire Waluigi-themed bachelorette party.

First appearing over 20 years ago in 2000's Mario Tennis, Waluigi acts as a foil to Luigi, much in the same way Wario is a foil to Mario. Waluigi's relationship to Wario has never been made clear, with theories that they are also brothers, cousins, or even just friends with mutual rivals. He has since appeared in the vast majority of Super Mario titles, most recently appearing in Super Mario Strikers: Battle League.

On August 5, a TikTok user named Cherrie Sorbet posted a video of a fully-fledged Waluigi bachelorette party. The seven guests - each one dressed up as a different variant of the Nintendo character - took turns talking to the camera in a bathroom, introducing their variant and who they think would be the most drunk by the end of the night. The variants include: Cowboy, Sexy Firefighter, Cult, Chef, Strongman, Pirate, and Elvis Waluigi. Most of the attendees picked the Elvis variant, with the Elvis Waluigi thinking it would be Pirate Waluigi, despite admitting that she herself is the bride.

Each one of the costumes appear to be well-thought-out, with each Waluigi variant containing clever details. Some highlights include Cult Waluigi's ouija board, with the character's signature "wah" plastered everywhere, Strongman Waluigi's Chain Chomp dumbbell, and Pirate Waluigi's Wario-themed parrot. Elvis Waluigi's outfit is particularly intricate, bedazzled with Piranha Plants and various Super Mario items. The whole idea is clearly a hit with viewers, garnering nearly a million likes with reposts getting thousands more. Two friends had to cancel before the bachelorette party took place, which could explain why there wasn't anyone taking advantage of Waluigi's suggestive new render.

For those wondering, a follow-up video declared a tie between Pirate Waluigi and Elvis Waluigi being the drunkest. The Waluigi bachelorette party will likely spawn similarly-themed celebrations, and is a testament to how immensely popular the character is despite never being put in the spotlight. While Waluigi is still omitted from the Super Smash Bros. roster, fan-made events like the bachelorette party will hopefully send a signal strong enough to Nintendo for the character to finally get his due.
