Walmart has unveiled a set of Black Friday ads for 2020. The multiple sales will take place across several weeks in November, leading up to the actual Black Friday.

The Black Friday ads are part of Walmart's "Deals for Days" sales, with the first kicking off on November 4. Walmart is hardly the first major retailer to offer Black Friday deals earlier than ever this year, with competitors like Target already launching specials, and Best Buy holding a Black Friday in October sale.

The first round of in-store deals will begin on November 7, with TVs being the most noteworthy items. Customers can get their hands on a 65-inch Onn 4K Roku TV for only $228, for instance. The same brand in a 42-inch HD model is priced at a mere $88. Other discount highlights include an Acer 32-inch curved monitor and a MSI GF65 gaming laptop, both of which should go quickly considering the recent uptick in gaming time due to COVID-19.

The second week of the "Deals for Days" sales will see TVs take the spotlight of deals once again, this time offering a 55-inch TCL 4K Roku TV for $148, a great investment for those looking to upgrade their TV for PS5 or Xbox Series X. In addition to deals on budget laptops and Chromebooks, Walmart's corporate blog site promises "its biggest wireless phone event ever in-stores and online on Saturday, November 14, with amazing deals on iPhones and Samsung phones". Those looking to add to their Blu-ray collection can nab top action films for significantly less, too. 4K UHD titles like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the John Wick films are only $8 a piece.

Walmart's "Deals for Days"sales seem to be covering the usual Black Friday suspects - phones, TVs, and laptops. If it isn't apparent yet, there's one huge thing absent from what's been announced so far - gaming. Aside from computer and computer accessories, its highly suspect that the retail giant is saving its deals on new consoles and upcoming holiday season game releases for last, so keep checking Game Rant for more info as it comes out. The Walmart "Deals for Days" Black Friday sale schedule is as follows:

  • Event 1: Nov. 4 @ 7pm ET (online), Nov. 7 @5am local time (in-store)
  • Event 2: Nov. 11 @7pm ET (online). New deals Nov. 14 @12am ET (online), 5am local time (in-store)
  • Event 3: Nov. 25 @7pm ET (online). New deals Nov. 27 @12am ET (online), 5am local time (in-store)

Walmart is taking several precautionary measures because of the pandemic to ensure in-store shopping is as safe as possible. Stores will be opening at 5am on Black Friday, therefore meaning Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, something the company hasn't done in over 30 years. Every store entrance will have a Health Ambassador to ensure mask compliance and hand people their carts. Walmart will be metering customers to reduce congestion, in addition to implementing directed traffic lanes for popular Black Friday aisles.
