Telltale Games officially provides a release window for the third episode in Season 3 of its interactive adventure game with zombies, The Walking Dead.

Without a doubt, ever since the release of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series' episodes 1 and 2 from the third season, fans have been clamoring for even more content to be added to the interactive survival-horror video game as soon as possible. Thankfully, developers for the franchise have officially confirmed that Episode 3: "Above the Law" is set to release relatively soon for all of The Walking Dead's available platforms.

As reported by GameSpot, Telltale Games has announced that the third season of The Walking Dead's latest installment, Episode 3: "Above the Law," is set to arrive sometime in March. However, the studio didn't go on to provide any additional details about the next entry for this season other than to say that the physical release of Season 3 – which includes the first episode on the disc, and a download code for the rest of the season – will launch on February 28, 2017 in North America and March 3, 2017 in Europe.

Although players on current generation platforms have been able to enjoy all of The Walking Dead's recent offerings in Season 3, players stuck on older consoles have been faced with the decision to either give up on following the forward thrust of the plot for the interactive title altogether, or upgrade to newer systems in order to keep enjoying the series. As it happens, Telltale Games decided to eschew the last generation of consoles with Season 3 by not making a version for PS3 or Xbox 360.

For those out of the loop, The Walking Dead Season 3 – A New Frontier (Parts 1 and 2) has featured both Clementine and a new playable character named Javier. Although they come from two completely different backgrounds, Clementine and Javier manage to unite in their fight to survive and protect those they love. Interestingly enough, The Walking Dead's executive producer Kevin Boyle has previously remarked that the two characters are important to one another in that their stories merge and develop alongside one another, saying, "Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his – both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse."

Fans looking to try out The Walking Dead for the first time so as to catch up with everyone else when Season 3's third episode launches will be pleased to know that Telltale Games has put together a story generator that will fill players in on all that's occurred so far in the series, and describe what kind of survivors they are. Bearing all of this in mind, it will be interesting to see if longtime fans and newbies alike will manage to help The Walking Dead's sales thrive in the coming weeks and months.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series' Episode 3: "Above the Law" for Season 3 is set to become available sometime in March for Android and iOS devices, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
