The Mystery Cards in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars are some of the most enigmatic collectibles in the game. Their functions aren't explained, and neither is how to get them, which will make some players a bit confused.

The first of the Mystery Cards will be gained through little effort on the player's behalf, as it's pretty much given to them in Nexton. However, in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, Mystery Card 2 isn't as easy to obtain. Players will have to travel to Thriceton in order to pick up this curious collectible.

Where To Find Thriceton

Thriceton Map Location

On the map, Thriceton is located very centrally to everything else. After leaving the starting city of Nexton, head west along the brick path and then turn north when one comes across a sign. The sign will actually point the player north, toward Thriceton, if they interact with the card tile by stepping on it.

Who To Talk To In Thriceton

There won't be anyone who initially talks about Mystery Card 2 in the city, however, this is definitely the place to find it. In the western part of the city, there will be a generic man who seems to smell extremely bad that players should talk to. While seemingly just some flavor text, there is a hidden quest here.

Learn The Smelly Man's Problem

It will become apparent after speaking with the pungent person that his odorous affliction is being caused by some sort of subtle internal poison that he has ingested. There is then a hint about an Antidote potentially being able to help the man get rid of the awful smell emanating from his body.

Find The Apothecary To Get Some Antidotes

Thankfully for both the smelly man and the player, there is a place in Thriceton that sells Antidotes. In the northeastern corner of Thriceton, players can find the apothecary, which sells Antidotes as well as other consumables. The proprietress will be letting Antidotes go for 40g each, which should easily be affordable for most players.

While one is here, it would be worthwhile to stock up on healing and curative items. There have not really been monsters that unleash status effects just yet, however, there will be as one exits the map and heads into the next zone through the Bewildering Wood.

How To Cure The Smelly Man Of His Poison Stench

Upon returning to the smelly man in Thriceton, players will have the option to give him an Antidote. Selecting to do so will cure this person of their poison-borne stench, likely much to everyone's relief. Now, without being disgustingly foul-smelling, the afflicted will become known as the "bathing man". The bathing man, free from his woes, can now go ahead with his plans to tell the person he adores about his affection.

Getting Mystery Card 2

Without needing to do anything else, the bathing man will give the player Mystery Card 2 after he has been helped. Though, players will still not have any means of using this collectible or even gain any knowledge of what it does. This will result in gamers tucking the ornate black and gold card into their inventory for later.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is available on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
