Shenanigans often occur in online versions of games, typically in the form of a strange challenge or crazy event coming from just the player or the whole community. One recent example of this is the Destiny 2 player who collected 100,000 Baryon Boughs. The latest is an epic journey taken for seemingly no reason in Red Dead Online, Red Dead Redemption 2's multiplayer counterpart, which sees one player attempt to carry his stew from Valentine to Saint Denis.

As many know, that is no short journey, but one that Redditor RJskillz92 seemed set to take. The video opens by saying that his stew needs something and that Saint Denis probably has that "good seasoning." It then cuts to the Red Dead Redemption 2 player, a bowl of stew in hand, walking a train track on his way to Saint Denis.

The fact that he chose to do this in Red Dead Online as well, as opposed to single-player, adds a whole level of suspense to challenge, especially when other players begin to fight on-screen with RJskillz92 just walking by. While death from another player seems the likeliest end to this beautiful journey, disaster actually struck from the least expected place.

As the Red Dead 2 player walks by a shack in the middle of a night, a deer comes running at him out of nowhere. It comes from around the shack, bumps into him, and keeps running. The player drops the bowl and looks at it for a moment before 'nonchalantly' commenting on what just happened. Disclaimer: Around the 3:00 mark, the video below contains explicit language.

Obviously, the RDR2 community thought a lot of RJskillz92's journey and the beautiful disaster that occurred, as his post is sitting at nearly 20,000 upvotes with 11 silver awards, 7 gold awards, and platinum as well. While this may be the most epic thing to come out of the community in a while, there's no doubt there's a solid community around the Rockstar title, as one player even recently made an RDR2 mod that lets players control birds.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available on PS4 and Xbox One.
