Vin Diesel has just revealed the official title and logo for the upcoming chapter in his extremely popular Fast and Furious franchise. Keeping it simple, the tenth installment is titled Fast X and is supported by a stylized logo, which looks like the headlights of a vehicle. Diesel also revealed that filming had begun on the highly anticipated film.

Starting its journey two decades ago, Universal's Fast and Furious film series has become one of the most popular franchises in Hollywood. Led by Diesel's Dominic Toretto, the films constantly push the boundaries of reality, which fans seem to love and throng to the theaters for. The saga is, however, coming to an end, with Diesel and his family beginning work on the final chapters of the franchise.

When sharing the image of the new Fast X logo on Instagram, Diesel posted the caption, “Day one…” This confirmed that the stars are back on set and ready to film the end of the series. It has previously been confirmed that Fast and Furious 10, which is now titled Fast X, and Fast and Furious 11 will mark the end of Dom's story. Both films will be shot simultaneously, with Diesel revealing in previous interviews that they will be filmed “back-to-back.”

Any time Diesel shares news related to the Fast and Furious franchise, fans begin speculating what it could mean for the upcoming films. The new logo is different from previous installments, as this is the first time that a Fast and Furious film has used Roman numerals in its title. Additionally, the title is fairly simple and doesn’t follow in its predecessor’s footsteps, F9: The Fast Saga. The only other time that a film in the franchise had a simple title was Fast Five. Fans have been speculating whether Fast X is the film that takes Dom's entire family to space, and so they are now looking for any potential clues that they could find in that stylized logo.

Fast X will bring back most of Dom's crew including Michelle Rodriguez's Letty, Tyrese Gibson's Roman, Nathalie Emmanuel's Ramsey, Ludacris' Tej, Jordana Brewster's Mia, and Sung Kang's Han. The film has also added some new members to the franchise, including Jason Momoa as the new villain and a currently unconfirmed character portrayed by Brie Larson.

Fast X is scheduled to premiere in theaters on May 19, 2023.
