The Game Rant Guide: April 2015

Game Rant Monthly Game Guide April 2015

Fourteen days. That's how much time you'll have in April to finish off Bloodborne and Battlefield HardlineSee, on April 14, one of the most hyped games of 2015 hits. Get ready, because it's almost time to fight.

Obviously, Mortal Kombat X is the biggest game coming out this April; in fact, it's really the only brand new blockbuster release. However, don't let the lack of big name titles fool you: there are a lot of other great games hitting this month, especially if you missed them on other platforms.

After almost a year and a half, Grand Theft Auto V makes its way to PCs (for real this time, honest), while Xenoblade Chronicles takes JRPG gaming on the go with a New 3DS-exclusive port. Shovel KnightBastion, and Broken Age aren't new games, but they're new to the PlayStation 4, while Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Edition packages the original game with its three DLC packs and some new content, just in case Bloodborne hasn't made you snap your controller in two quite yet.

It's a light month, but that's probably for the best. After all, May sees The Witcher 3 and some new Wolfensteinand then in June, Batman happens. Give your bank account a break while you still can.
