Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is the upcoming sequel of the game of the same name released 15 years ago. The original Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines was commended for its narrative and the importance it placed on players choices. Several weeks ago, Paradox Interactive unexpectedly announced Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, and even dropped the first trailer of the upcoming game. Now, the developer Hardsuit Labs has revealed how long it takes to beat the game.

In response to a fan question on Twitter, developer Hardsuit Labs revealed that the overall length of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, will depend on the play style of the player, but on average, the studio estimated the game to run between 25-30 hours. The length of the sequel is somewhat similar to the average play time of the original game.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was first teased last month via the mysterious dating app called Tender. In the app, subscribers were asked bizarre questions including their blood type, which made some people suspicious of the app's relation to Vampire: The Masquerade. Later on, more concrete evidence was uncovered after Tender app users discovered that they can sign in using their Paradox Interactive account, which is the studio that purchased Wolf Publishing in 2015, the original creator of Vampire: The Masquerade.

As of the moment, details on the upcoming sequel are still kept secret at this point, but developer Hardsuit Labs revealed on Twitter that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will have "interesting things in the world worth exploring" such as "multiple playthroughs" and "branching narratives" similar to the first game.

Although Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines did not do well in terms of sales, the cult classic was widely considered as a "masterpiece" due to its deep narrative and the plethora of choices players can make. This is why the game made our list of the best vampire games ever made.

Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is set to release in Q1 of 2020.
