The roguelike action indie title Vampire Survivors has rapidly reached critical acclaim and rampant success following its release in 2022. Players must try and survive 30-minute stages with infinitely spawning waves of enemies, as they collect weapons and passive items along the way. Many of these weapons combine to create evolved weapons, which are the key to success.

The Silver and Gold Rings are two vital components needed to evolve the Clock Lancet into the Infinite Corridor weapon. Any Vampire Survivors players wanting to challenge the ultimate boss, Red Death, will need this item evolution, and luckily, this handy guide details exactly how.

The Yellow Sign

Before players can even see the Silver and Gold Rings, they should have unlocked the Milky Way Map and the Yellow Sign relic. The latter allows players to detect hidden floor items on different levels. The Yellow Sign is simple to unlock, as the player needs to survive for 15 minutes on the Moongolow stage before they are automatically teleported to the Holy Forbidden.

From this hidden stage, the player must make their way to the Yellow Sign relic, equipped only with their starting weapon to defeat the angel-like boss. The player should now have permanently unlocked the Yellow Sign relic, which unlocks hidden floor pickups like the Silver Ring and the Gold Ring.

How To Get The Silver Ring

Using their Milky Way Map relic, the player should be able to see where the Silver and Gold Rings spawn. They are available on all stages and found as floor loot; the Silver Ring is typically at the top end of the map.

The Silver Ring is a passive item that gradually increases the duration and AoE of the player's items with each level upgrade. If the player comes into proximity to the ring, a floating guardian will spawn, even if the player decides not to pick it up, so proceed with caution. It is best not the seek out the ring until equipped with at least two weapon evolutions to combat the large enemy that spawns. This foe has a significantly-large health pool and can be hard to kill. It is slow-moving, however, will teleport to players if they get too far away. Once vanquished, it will drop a Golden Egg.

How To Get The Gold Ring

Like the Silver Ring, the Gold Ring will be on the opposite side of its counterpart. If players are unsure of its location, they can double-check using the Milky Way Map relic.

Similar to its silver counterpart, the Gold Ring is a passive item guarded by a powerful floating entity with a slightly different appearance. However, the Gold Ring is considerably more harmful to players, particularly if they stumble upon it in the early game. When equipped, it increases the speed, health, quantity, and spawning frequencies of all enemies by 5% at each level, maxing out at 40

How To Upgrade The Gold & Silver Rings

Vampire Survivors, Infinite Corridor

To upgrade the Gold and Silver Rings, players need to collect the Clock Lancet, which briefly stops enemies in their tracks. When these three ingredients are upgraded to their respective max levels, it will create the powerful weapon, the Infinite Corridor. It fires a beam that circulates clockwise around the player, freezing any enemies it hits before firing a pulsing and rotating rainbow aura that depletes half the health of all enemies on the screen.

The Infinite Corridor is an essential weapon that makes the final fight against the Red Death past the 30-minute-mark much easier. It freezes the scythe-toting reaper in place while simultaneously damaging him, giving the player ample time to kite around him, making the fight a breeze.

Vampire Survivors is available to buy and play on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
