Twitch Rivals just started a new Valorant series with eight teams composed of popular streamers, with the prize pool totaling $50,000. The roster for each team varies, but there are some names Valorant fans may notice.

Each of the Twitch Rivals Valorant teams consists of five total players, some of which are professional esports players, but most are not. Each of the players has been playing and streaming Valorant since the game's Beta back in 2020. The tournament format is Round Robin, Best-of-3 Matches, with four teams playing in two different groups. The top three teams from each group advance, while the playoffs will be Best-of-3 Matches in a 6-team Single Elimination Bracket. The event will run over the course of three different days: February 24th, March 3rd, and March 10th.

As far as the prize pool goes, each team will earn $1000 per match win and $1000 for placing 3rd or 4th, $1400 for placing 2nd, and $2000 for coming in 1st place overall.
