Valorant is one of the biggest multiplayer games of the year, and developer Riot Games is not yet finished with teasing new content for the title. With Valorant's release on June 2, a new Agent looks to be ready to join the fun just in time for the full release.

The Valorant closed beta has been a large success this spring, as countless players have logged hours on Twitch to try to get their code into the tactical first-person shooter. Many enjoy the game for its smooth gameplay and team-oriented fun. But a huge aspect of the enjoyment is also the Agents.

Valorant compares favorably to games like CS:GO, but it's the Agents and their unique abilities that make the game feel similar to games like Overwatch or even Rainbow Six Seige as well. During the beta players have mastered the air and movement abilities of Jett, the fire and blinding moveset of Pheonix, and the healing teamwork of Sage. But thanks to a tweet from the official Valorant Twitter page, a brand new Agent is also being hinted at.

The tweet has a quick trailer that showcases explosive gameplay for Valorant, but the key element is the last few seconds. A new Agent is shown with purple eyes and hair and large hoop earrings. Time will tell how she will play. A new Agent is set to be ready for launch, so this tease is most likely that Agent. Pros have tons of tips for Valorant already, as soon as new Agents drops in the game, players are sure to try to master them as well.

During the beta phase of the game, there were things that Riot Games needed to fix with Valorant. With the launch of the shooter right around the corner, one would hope that gameplay improvements will arrive shortly. New Agents are great, but the core game getting improvements is even more important.

Along with the new Agent, Valorant is set to launch on June 2 with a new map as well. The beta didn't have many maps to play with, so fans are looking forward to a larger pool of Agents and maps to slay out in.
