Valkyrie Elysium is the latest entry in the Valkyrie Profile series, though it changed the format of the series so much as to essentially almost be a reboot of the series. Straying from its turn-based roots, Valkyrie Elysium is an action RPG that gives players a sizable arsenal of weapons, skills, and Einherjar allies to dispatch the hordes of undead that they come across.

Players interested in checking out Valkyrie Elysium may be wondering about how long it will take to beat the game. This guide will give players an idea of what to expect based on how they play and what they focus on.

How Long Does It Take To Beat Valkyrie Elysium?

The length of time it takes to beat Valkyrie Elysium will be entirely dependent on several factors. If players just focus solely on the main story missions and nothing else, Valkyrie Elysium can easily be beaten in as little as 11 to 10 hours, especially if cutscenes are skipped. However, Valkyrie Elysium players that take their time and do a few Side Quests here and there will have a longer playtime typically ranging from 15 to 20 hours. Of course, players that seek to get all four endings by collecting all the Verdant Blossoms will definitely have a run time much closer to 20 hours if not over it. This is especially the case if a Verdant Blossom is missed and players have to go back and get it as they have to complete the mission again for it to count.

The length of time it takes to beat Valkyrie Elysium will also depend on what difficulty is selected along with player skill. Playing the game on easy will result in a faster clear time. But if players who aren't as familiar with action RPGs try to beat Valkyrie Elysium on a higher difficulty, it is entirely possible that it will take more than 20 hours to clear the game if not longer.

How Long Does It Take To Get 100% Completion?

Since Valkyrie Elysium has a lot of Hollow Blossoms to collect and Side Quests to complete, players looking to do absolutely everything will have a much longer run time. At the bare minimum of just collecting everything and completing all nine Main Missions and all 36 Side Quests, players can expect to accomplish this after at least 25 hours of gameplay. For players who want to get S-Rank on every single Mission in the game, unlock all skills, obtain SSS proficiency on all weapons, and every trophy/achievement that can be done on a single save file, they will likely be able to accomplish that around 28 to 30 hours.

Valkyrie Elysium is available now on PS4 and PS5. It will be available for PC on November 11th.
