Top YouTube streamer and content creator Valkyrae recently revealed that she has no plans to cut her hair short in the near future, nor even in the distant future. The massively popular online personality gave a rather simple explanation as to why she won't be chopping off her signature locks, along with a laundry list of circumstances that would get her to even consider it in the first place.

Rachell "Valkyrae" Hofstetter continues to be one of the most popular female streamers in the world, ranking up with the likes of Amouranth and Pokimane. Valkyrae is considered the undisputed queen of YouTube Gaming, having recently signed a multi-year contract with the platform through 2024. The contract must have included quite a hefty payout, as Valkyrae spent over $50,000 on her sister's wedding in December.

Reposted in a YouTube clip, the topic of cutting hair much shorter came during a recent stream with fellow broadcaster Miyoung, who made headlines over the holiday season by chopping her equally long hair off into an ultra-short pixie cut. After immediately responding that she wouldn't, Valkyrae then thought that if she is "75" and has "17 kids, 15 cats, five husbands" then she may consider cutting her hair short. She goes on to further reasons as to why she keeps her hair long, citing that "It would be an afro" due to it being naturally very curly and slow-growing.

A short haircut isn't the only thing the streamer has stated she won't do, albeit one that is much more permanent. A few months ago, Valkyrae revealed she probably won't ever have kids. While she was in the middle of a Valorant stream and joking about having a baby, the content creator said she doesn't think she ever actually will because of the time-intensiveness of what she does for work. "I just love working. I just love being busy. I don’t know how I would just stop working to have a kid."

Valkyrae may be choosing the decision to keep her hair intact the way it is, but other streamers have been a lot less lucky. Popular Twitch streamer Woofy's hair caught on fire during the middle of a stream. The streamer was opening several packs of Japanese Pokemon cards when she leaned off-camera to get a card sleeve, and returned to frame with her head on fire.

While it's highly unlikely Valkyrae will come out with her own line of haircare products, considering the widely-publicized debacle that was the RFLCT skin-care brand, her famously thick and long head of hair could certainly lend itself to such an endeavor.
