While only recently releasing to the public, Valheim has exceeded many expectations and has become massively successful. Some would even say it has a chance to be the next big viral co-op survival game.

Just like other survival genre games, there are plenty of materials to collect and items to craft. And once players get to a certain point, they will be able to summon some of the game's bosses.

Similar to Minecraft, these bosses each have their own specific rituals to summon them. So for players looking for some help in the process, here are all the ways to summon the different bosses in Valheim.

Eikthyr

Eikthyr is a large mystical stag with electrified antlers and is one of the first bosses gamers can spawn in the game. At the spawn, if players travel left of the Eikthyr Sacrificial Stone, there is a small glowing rock that will indicate Eikthyr's Summoning Altar location. While it does move around, it will always be located within the Meadows Biome. Simply offer two deer trophies to the altar, and Eikthyr will appear.

Luckily, the best way to fight Eikthyr is to use a wooden shield and flint spear in Valheim to hit him in between attacks. It is also recommended to eat a large meal and fully sleep the night before the fight.

The Elder

For the second boss, the Elder is a large tree monster that can attack with vines. There will be a Rune Stone that tells the exact summoning location within the Black Forest by visiting the Burial Chambers. Bring three ancient seeds and burn them at the sacrificial altar, and the Elder should appear.

It is important to bring a large number of health potions for the fight. Additionally, the Black Forest enemies, such as Trolls and Greydwarves, have a high chance of joining the fight. Also, prepare for a backup plan because if the player loses or runs away, The Elder will track them down after the fight is over.

Bonemass

The Bonemass is a large sludge looking monster that can be summoned in the swamp biome. To summon Bonemass, use 10 Wither Bones at the skull altar in the swamp, and the boss should appear.

Blunt weapons and ice arrows are highly effective against Bonemass, so make sure to bring around four to five Iron Maces. Also, heavily stock up on Poison Resistance Mead; it won't be easy without it.

Moder

Moder is a large black dragon with white hair that can fly in the middle of combat. To summon him, bring three Dragon Eggs to the sacrificial altar in the mountain biome. The monument should start glowing, and Moder should appear.

If possible, acquire some wolf armor for this fight, but the normal cloak and iron armor in Valheim should do the trick. Make sure to bring frost resistance potions and use many fire arrows when Moder is in the air.

Valheim is available now in Early Access on PC.
