The Valheim community is showing off its creativity again, with one fan creating an impressively accurate representation of the Hunter's Dream from Bloodborne. The build includes impressive attention to detail and serves as a reminder that the Valheim community's constructive creativity knows no limit.

Valheim is a survival game themed around the era of Vikings, offering a detailed base-building system as one of its main features. Creative players have taken the base-building system and used it for a wide variety of creative builds, from completely original ideas to recreations of existing media.

User caeus_plays took to Reddit to post their tribute to Bloodborne and even went to the extra effort of creating a video showcasing the build in a parody of Bloodborne's Hunter's Dream introduction. The video shows off the base and the surrounding area, with the paths lined with gravestones and functional equipment held inside the Hunter's Workshop. The build has been uploaded to the Valheimians fan website as a vbuild file, so Bloodborne fans wanting to bring a little Bloodborne into Valheim can import the base with the BuildShare mod.

The Valheim community is proven to overlap with fans of FromSoftware games, with one player building a Firelink Shrine-inspired base just weeks ago. The Hunter's Dream is a fitting locale to remake, as in both its source material of Bloodborne and its position remade in Valheim the Hunter's Dream functions as a safe haven for players. The Valheim version includes a workbench, storage, and a hearth, all important elements of a Valheim base.

The in-depth base construction system offered in Valheim consistently allows players to create impressive builds, which has undoubtedly played a role in the game's success. Other games in the past involving creative base-building systems such as Minecraft have become smash hits mostly because of allowing the player freedom to create. Even in the short time that has passed since the game's initial release, sales of Valheim remain high, likely in no small part due to the creativity the game allows.

With Valheim's constant growth, some may wonder if the game can keep players creating for much longer or if the playerbase will begin to fade. With an extensive Valheim content and DLC roadmap published earlier this year, it seems Valheim is here to stay as a 2021 Early Access hit, as Coffee Stain Studios continues to update the game and add even more to explore.

Valheim is available in Early Access on PC.
