Valheim's Mistlands update has brought plenty of new items and creatures to the game. Included in this update are unique meals that add to the game's diverse food options and provide Eitr, the new magical resource. One of the most impressive of these options is the Stuffed Mushroom.

This new cookable item can be incredibly useful for those looking to purse Valheim's new magic system. It isn't as straightforward as other meals in this game, however. For those players looking to assemble and cook the Stuffed Mushroom, this guide is here to help.

Where to Cook a Stuffed Mushroom in Valheim?

At their level 5 Cauldron, players can convert 3 Magecaps, 1 Blood Clot, and 1 Turnip into 1 Uncooked Magically Stuffed Mushroom. This item then has to be brought to Valheim's Stone Oven, cooked inside, and taken out in order to produce the Stuffed Mushroom. This meal can then be eaten to produce 25 Health, 12 Stamina, and 75 Eitr. That last resource stat is the main reason why this meal is so vital for magical users.

Eitr is required to use any of the new magical items such as Valheim's new Staff of Frost and Staff of Protection. At 75 Eitr, this meal stands at number three on the list of most powerful magical meals. The only other meal options are Yggdrasil Porridge and the Seeker Aspic which produce 80 and 85 Eitr, respectively. Of these three, the Stuffed Mushroom has a recipe list that is a bit easier to track down than the others.

Where to Find the Ingredients for a Stuffed Mushroom?

Magecaps were hinted at leading up to the release of the Mistlands update for Valheim and have been added to the game now that it is live on the Public Test Branch. These blue Mushrooms grow in small groups throughout this area and only need be interacted with in order to be picked up. Blood Clots are drops from the Ticks that inhabit the Mistlands. Players have to be careful because these creatures will jump at and cling to players, dealing minor damage over time.

The final ingredient, Turnips, need to be grown from the Turnip Seeds that grow throughout Valheim's Swamp biome. Yellow flowers denote where these Turnip Seeds can be harvested. These seeds can then be planted with a Cultivator and will grow after about 2 days, but only if placed in the right biome.

Valheim is available now for PC and releases in early 2023 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
