Valheim is an open-world sandbox game that has endless ways for players to craft, build and maintain their inventory. Although this game consists of following common sense in terms of survival there are more fantastical elements acquire, as well. In that regard, one of the most vital resources to find in Valheim will be dragon tears. These aren't the easiest things to find and players will really need to keep their eyes peeled. Because if a player manages to find some dragon tears, it can really add a new dimension to the game.

In order to collect some dragon tears in Valheim, the first thing players must do is find their way to Moder and defeat her. She is generally found within the mountain biome. However, before players venture out there, they will first need three dragon eggs so they can summon Moder. This can be a harrowing side-quest, but it must be done. Therefore, in order to grab some dragon eggs, players will need to explore the mountain biome and look for large dragon nests.

The problem with this is that one dragon egg can weigh up to 200 kg. So, players will need to manage their inventory accordingly. It's suggested that players equip the Haldor's Megingjord belt so they can carry all three of these eggs effectively. Otherwise, they'll be trekking back and forth in the mountain biome, which can be a dangerous chore. Take the eggs to the summoning spot and just place them there. Moder won't show up until all three of these eggs are aligned.

The Mountains Of Valheim Are Frozen Inhospitable Biomes

Moder isn't a dragon to take lightly either. She is rather large and can do some massive damage. Be sure to prepare frost resistance potions and load up with any kind of fire-based attacks. It's recommended to equip with ranged attacks to keep a safe distance. Once she finally falls, players will be able to collect 10x dragon tears from her body. Players should load them up in their inventory and head back to their base.

The usage for a dragon tear is a bit of an enigma, at the moment. However, it is widely known to be used to build an Artisan Table. This table can be used to craft top-tier equipment such as a; blast furnace, windmill, and spinning wheel. Chances are that dragon tears will be used to craft other items in future expansions, but only time will tell. As of right now, if players want to build higher-grade equipment, then the Artisan Table is what they will need.
