Jeighth chose a mountaintop location with a great view of the surrounding land, making the base visible from far away and majestically stand out in the light.
Dark Souls is widely known for its brutal difficulty, and Valheim being marketed as a difficult survival game undoubtedly attracted veteran Dark Souls fans who were looking for a challenge. The fandoms of both games crossing over is predictable, and given Valheim's emphasis on creative construction, fans paying tribute to other favorite games was an inevitability. The creativity afforded by Valheim's systems have also been used to represent more outlandish media, such as Thomas The Tank Engine, which seems to be a common meme in games affording the players the opportunity to create.

Jeighth chose not to show off the base interior, and mentions that the build is a work in progress, not yet having a connecting bridge between its towers. Still, it is a wonderful display of the creativity that can shine from gamers given a well-made construction system in a survival game. Surely the community's builds can only become more beautiful and impressive as time goes on.
