Valheim is taking over Twitch as the next big survival game on the streaming platform. It's a unique take on the genre that has players exploring what is essentially Viking purgatory, all while trying to survive. Seriously, there's a reason it's already sold over a million copies.
As it pulls in more concurrent players than Grand Theft Auto 5, there's no better time to get in on this new gaming craze than now. There are many streamers showing off the game in all its glory, but some are simply too fun for anyone new or fans who have been playing since the beginning to miss out on.
9 Elspeth
Look, there's nothing wrong with watching salty streamers as a guilty pleasure. Twitch Streamer, Elspeth, says her "diet is high in sodium" for a reason! When not a bit grumpy over the game going wrong, she's marvelously goofy and a pleasure to watch. Plus, she has good rules in her chat to make sure the community she builds is chill and hate-free. It's possible to simply listen to Blessious chatting as he goes on Viking adventures and still have a fantastic time. He has a marvelous voice and has even done voice-over work in the past for EA Games. He loves to roleplay while playing and that deep and luscious baritone voice makes his experiences in Viking purgatory with his "son" something no other Valheim streamer has to offer.

If you have a weakness for Australian accents, there's only one Valheim streamer that can fill the void. ZoeTwoDots tends to be known for her Pokemon GO content but her streams of Valheim are absolutely worth tuning into (if viewers can figure out her wonky streaming schedule). Plus, she's an amazing LGBT+ streamer for people looking for a queer-friendly space to enjoy games.

It can certainly be fun seeing a pro play through Valheim, but for those new to the game, it's not an experience that's easy to identify with. Melipastel is a real treasure to watch as she is currently just starting out with the game and is likely to make the same missteps as other starting players. Her fun and light attitude in streams help make this a fantastic experience for anyone wanting to experience the game fresh just like she is.

Coestar is massively popular, and with 2nd longest consecutive daily streams record on Twitch in the world, it's very likely fans can have new Valheim content to watch all the time. He's been streaming since the days when Twitch was called Justin.tv, and his experience shows in his high-quality streams.
He doesn't just stream solo either. His Viking adventures with the full MindCrack crew make things even more enjoyable. When the whole crew is online at once, it's one of the best groups playing Valheim on Twitch.
3 FeralWife
Alli, also known as FeralWife, tends to stream first-person shooters but when the FeralFam requested Valheim, she jumped right in to start playing. She is seriously good at the game and often does charity streams where fans can donate to various causes. It feels great to watch a good streamer, but even better to donate to help those in need, right? Tuning in to watch her play is the perfect way to feel good while doing some good in the world.
2 PointCrow
PointCrow is, in his own words, "aggressively mediocre at all the games [he plays]." Still, this haphazard gaming experience can create amazing scenarios that are a joy to watch. It's awesome seeing streamers that can take down a boss perfectly, but it can be even more fun to watch people like PointCrow flail and struggle.
Plus, he tends to run squad streams while playing the game, so it's easy to see what his fellow folks in co-op are doing at any given time. It's fun to see a whole team in action battling to survive in Viking purgatory.

It just feels right to watch a self-described Viking play through Valheim. The muscular mass of gaming glory, known simply as SWOL, keeps things casual while playing, which makes it a comfortable experience to watch him go through the game. He keeps a consistent schedule as well, making it easy to tune in and see him play the game. Plus, his community of Swoldiers makes the Twitch chat an excellent place to hang out and make new friends.
