Cotton Yarn and Cloth are two important crafting reagents in V Rising, and it is possible to craft both of them. In order to create these materials, players must first unlock and establish a Loom, a workstation that can be built within a castle. This guide is here to walk fans through this process, and it contains all the information that they need to make Cotton Yarn and Cloth in V Rising.

V Rising: How to Get Loom

As previously noted, the Loom is the key to crafting both Cotton Yarn and Cloth, and players can unlock its recipe by defeating Beatrice the Tailor, a Level 38 boss. To find Beatrice, players should simply visit their Blood Altars, locate her in the list of V Rising bosses, click on "Track Blood" beneath the rewards that she grants, and follow the blood trail that appears. With the tailor dispatched, players should return to their bases and create the Loom by combining 12 Copper Ingots, 20 Planks, and four Wool Thread.

V Rising: How to Make Cotton Yarn

Players can use their Looms to create Cotton Yarn as soon as they have established the structure, provided that they have enough Cotton to support the endeavor. Indeed, each Cotton Yarn is made from 15 Cotton, and that V Rising material comes from the various Cotton Farms that are scattered across the Dunley Farmlands. The positions of these farms have been marked on the following map, and Cotton can be extracted from the plants within their fields or looted from nearby chests.

To note, players will need a Merciless Copper weapon or better to harvest Cotton from the associated plants. Fans must also fulfill this requirement if they hope to mine Iron Ore in V Rising, and the recipes for these weapons come as random drops. It is also possible to earn Merciless Copper weapon recipes through the Study, though players that are interested in pursuing that option should be prepared to expend quite a lot of Paper.

V Rising: How to Make Cloth

It is very easy to make Cloth, as it simply requires players to feed three Leather and nine Plant Fiber into the Loom. The first of these materials can be made after fans build a Tannery in V Rising, and they will earn the recipe for that structure upon defeating an early-game boss known as Keely the Frost Archer. The Plant Fiber, on the other hand, can be collected directly from the foliage that populates the landscape.

V Rising is available in Early Access on PC.
