The Australian "craft games" development studio Mountains announced Wednesday they have acquired three new programmers including Cherie Davidson, who worked on House House's award-winning Untitled Goose Game. She was also an associate director and technical producer on Media Molecules' Dreams, according to her website.

Mountains is the studio that produced Florence, an indie visual novel first released on mobile that later came to the Nintendo Switch and Steam that tells the story of a girl who falls in and out of love. According to the studio's website, it's the first game as part of its mission to make titles "that linger in hearts and minds."

Alongside Davidson, Mountains has hired Sean O'Dowd, whose experience includes the mobile game Calamari Kid, and Daniel "MagpieBusiness," who worked on the co-op parenting simulator Think of the Children. The programmers were hired on some time before the announcement was made on Twitter, and since then the studio has been working on an unannounced project from home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While Mountains gives no hint as to what game it's working on with these new programmers, the pedigree of titles like Florence and Untitled Goose Game suggests it should at least be worth looking out for.

Untitled Goose Game is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One.
