Following the official launch of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Naughty Dog's action-adventure title has not only been received well by a large amount of critics, but also it seems as if the public has been eager to pick up the game. As it so happens, the standalone sequel in the third-person shooter and platformer series has managed to top the sales charts in the UK during its first week of availability on the market.

Interestingly enough, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy's debut in the number one slot on the UK sales charts dethrones the long-standing champion of the fellow PS4 release Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, with the latter dropping to the third spot on the list. However, the Naughty Dog title's sales superiority didn't come without some other fresh competition, as Codemasters' racing game F1 2017 was nipping at The Lost Legacy's heels to come in second place for the week.

Aside from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and the other aforementioned titles, the UK sales charts also saw a newcomer in Madden NFL 18 as the fourth highest-selling game for the week. The rest of the titles on the list, though, have been available for quite a while at this point, with releases like Rockstar Games' open world crime title Grand Theft Auto 5 and Bethesda's post-apocalyptic Fallout 4 maintaining footholds on the charts. Interested parties can find the top 10 best-selling UK games for the week in full below.

While Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has a decent shot at retaining the sales crown for the second week in a row, it has stiff competition in tomorrow's release of Ubisoft's Nintendo Switch-exclusive Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, which will officially be the first new title from the Mario universe starring the Big N's de facto mascot on the company's latest console. With this being the case, it's quite possible that the power of Mario's world renowned likeness will assist Nintendo in ousting Uncharted: The Lost Legacy from its pole position on the charts.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is available now for PlayStation 4.
