Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is looking like a stellar remaster of the series' last two releases for the PS5. Many players were likely looking forward to earning Platinum trophies for both Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, but unfortunately, only one of the game's got one this time around.

Naughty Dog announced the Legacy of Thieves Collection this past September at PlayStation Showcase 2021, bringing Uncharted to both the PS5 and PC for the first time. Packed inside Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy, the series' sole entries on the PS4. In the former title, players will experience the end of Nathan Drake's adventuring days, while in the latter, Naughty Dog casts the spotlight on two of the franchise's side characters, Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, in a grand adventure of their own. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection includes a variety of new performance and graphical options to take advantage of more powerful hardware.

To trophy hunters dismay, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection only includes a Platinum for A Thief's End and not The Lost Legacy as well. Uncharted fan NateDrake75 shared a screenshot of the Legacy of Thieves Collection's trophy list to the official r/Trophies subreddit where they point out the missing Platinum for The Lost Legacy.

In the main section of Legacy of Thieves Collection's trophies are those of A Thief's End minus the online ones, with The Lost Legacy's trophies being a separate tab like most games categorize their DLC trophies. Earning all of The Lost Legacy's trophies will reward the player with the Gold trophy, "Don't Run The Moment," instead of a Platinum like in the original.

After PlayStation outlined how PS4 saves carry over into Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, many players were likely looking forward to getting themselves some easy Platinums. Players who have uploaded previous A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy save files to the PlayStation Cloud can retrieve their data for use in the Legacy of Thieves Collection, with all progress and trophies transferring as well.

While this may be disappointing news to some, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is still worth players' time. Both of the included games shine on the PS5 thanks to the improved console power, making the consistently beautiful scenery and environments even more special. Furthermore, with more graphical modes—Fidelity, Performance, and Performance+ options—as well as tailored DualSense support, players have more control over these games than they did before. So, even if there aren't two shiny Platinum trophies at the end, a Platinum and a Gold are still pretty good too for what this collection is packing.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection launches January 28 for PS5 with a PC version also in development.
