Naughty Dog releases the patch notes for the latest update to its action-adventure title, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, detailing campaign and multiplayer fixes.
Although Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End received rave reviews prior to its official release last week, the developers at Naughty Dog actively worked on and put out gameplay fixes for the title over the weekend with the game’s Update 1.03. Of course, this was done not only to squash any bugs or glitches in the title, but also to simply enhance the experience for fans of what has been described as the last game in the series.
While Update 1.03 brings about some repairs for Uncharted 4‘s single-player campaign, such as the general fix for crashes as well as the amelioration of a particle sync issue, the majority of the patch offers up changes relating to the game’s multiplayer mode. For instance, the update reduced the amount of warm-up matches fans need to take part in so as to unlock other playlists to just one, and it brought down the overall number of warm-up matches from five to ten.
Those interested to see a full rundown of all the changes included in Update 1.03 can check out the list over on the next page, but it’s worth noting that the patch is not comprehensive in the slightest. Looking forward, even Naughty Dog has stated that it is “actively working on getting more fixes” for some of the issues fans have reported while playing Uncharted 4 on their own. As a matter of fact, should anyone have encountered a problem with the title’s gameplay, they can report it to developers right here.
Of course, any help from fans when it comes to ironing out any kinks in Uncharted 4 is more than likely greatly appreciated by the team over at Naughty Dog. After all, if developers are able to get a head start on nixing glitches and repairing unforeseen difficulties, it’s safe to presume that the studio’s job will be a lot easier once it prepares to roll out the game’s forthcoming DLC.
In any case, with Uncharted 4 having recently premiered in the number one spot on UK charts after launching just last Tuesday, there’s a good chance that the action-adventure title will go on to remain in the top 10 for quite some time. Plus, since its sales are up 66% from the previous entry’s first week figures, there’s a good chance of Uncharted 4 becoming one of the year’s best-selling releases.
