Several years after its initial release in 2016, the finale of Nathan Drake's journey in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End still resonates with fans. Last year, developer Naughty Dog announced the game would be receiving enhanced ports to PS5 and PC through the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. This contains not only the aforementioned fourth title, but also the spin-off Uncharted: Lost Legacy that takes place after the events of this game. If a recent rumor is to be believed, this might not be the only Uncharted 4 content coming in 2022.

The franchise has been receiving a lot of attention in recent months, especially with a new Uncharted film starring Tom Holland that will be released this year. This is even evident with Sony offering tickets with purchases of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. It's pretty clear that Uncharted is a very important and lucrative IP for both Sony and Naughty Dog, with a lot of emphasis being placed on it this year. Not only will there be a re-release on Sony's next-gen console and a live action film, but there might be a new LEGO set based on Uncharted in development.

This rumor comes from a post made by Instagram user falconbrickstudios, who reported that this model will be named 769897 Uncharted: A Thief's End, which is the same subtitle given to Uncharted 4. It's likely that this LEGO set will be based on the events of that game, with appropriate set pieces and parts. The set is reported to contain over 1000 pieces, indicating how big it will be.

According to the post, this LEGO set will allow players to assemble a white-gray jeep, which will allow them to explore a cave section that is littered with treasure. The jeep and cave section specifically may explain the high piece count included in this set. There will also be three mini-figures included in this, with two of them based on Uncharted main characters Nathan Drake and Sully, along with Nathan's love interest Elena Fisher.

This is the second LEGO set that is rumored to be in development based on a PlayStation gaming property, as rumors of a Horizon Zero Dawn LEGO set were cropping up last year. The rumors outlined the fact that the Tallneck enemies seen in Horizon were going to be a part of the set, and that it would come in at a similar brick count of 1222. The post from falconbrickstudios, however, outlines a release date for this Uncharted set. Supposedly, it will drop on March 1 of this year, but much like other rumors, it's important to take it with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made.

A LEGO set based on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is rumored to release March 1st 2022.
