Today, the video game developer Naughty Dog held a Twitch livestream to reveal some of its plans for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's forthcoming multiplayer update, with the studio announcing its decision to eventually incorporate free costumes inspired by The Last of Us' in-game comic book known as Savage Starlight. The company declared when it will add the free duds, promising that the content will be available on March 17.

As seen in the image below, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's main character Nathan Drake can be seen sporting a skin-tight suit reminiscent to the one worn by Savage Starlight's partner to Dr. Daniela Star – that is, the comic book's chief protagonist. Interestingly enough, the outfit found below won't be the only vanity item inspired by Savage Starlight to be added into the 2016 action-adventure title, as Naughty Dog has said others are on the way as well.

In addition to Uncharted 4's forthcoming Savage Starlight materials, Naughty Dog gave fans the low down on plenty more assets being added through the game's next free multiplayer expansion, such as the inclusion of new taunts, new weapons – including assault rifles and pistols – and a new version of the King of the Hill mode. Plus, the developer has stated that new Boosters will be added to Uncharted 4's Survival mode, as well as a new personal stats page that will let players view all of their multiplayer achievements.

As most Uncharted 4 fans might have expected, the impending multiplayer expansion for the game won't be the last update, as Naughty Dog has one more major update in the works after this one goes live. However, the studio didn't provide any details as to what should be expected in the next content drop.

Taking all of this into consideration, it's great to see Naughty Dog continuing to provide support for Uncharted 4 well after its release in early 2016. The action-adventure title has had solid sales since launch, as it has sold upwards of 8.7 million copies so far. While some of those who purchased Uncharted 4 might have already moved on to other releases, it's safe to say that those who are still enjoying the game's multiplayer will surely appreciate the extra goodies on the way.
