A bug within Naughty Dog's action-adventure title Uncharted 4: A Thief's End causes Elena, the wife of protagonist Nathan Drake, to act a little bit cuckoo.

As practically every fan of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will agree, the franchise's characters Elena Fisher and Nathan Drake are undoubtedly one of gaming's greatest couples. With that in mind, it's safe to say that without having each other as a mainstay in their lives, one of them might end up becoming a little bit unhinged in some way, shape, or form.

As it happens, the discovery of strange new bug in Uncharted 4 confirms just that. Thanks to the video documentation of YouTuber and fan of the series, KHCloud, we can now imagine how some of Elena's private moments look without her husband Nathan Drake around, for the glitch removes the action-adventure protagonist from the title completely and turns our heroine into what seems like a love-sick lunatic.

As seen in the footage below, right at the tail-end of fans getting to experience Uncharted 4's Crash Bandicoot Easter egg, Elena holds a cute and tender conversation with what appears to be an imaginary version of Nathan Drake, with the bug having rendered him totally invisible, making it look like she's talking to herself with his voice projected in her head. Nevertheless, it's quite possible for one to simply view this as a case of a poltergeist phenomenon, as Drake's ghost is able to briefly wield a PlayStation controller, causing the peripheral appear as if it's floating. No matter the explanation, however, it's hard to argue that the scene isn't hilarious, yet heartbreaking, especially when Elena is essentially miming the embrace and kissing of her husband.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Uncharted 4 has been plagued by strange bugs. Yet even though the action-adventure title has had its fair share of hang-ups, most of them have been entertaining. As a matter of fact, the game recently sported an hysterical wall climbing glitch that truly has to be seen to be believed.

In spite of these instances, though, Naughty Dog has remained rather diligent in squashing Uncharted 4's bugs by just recently having put out a patch providing a plethora of campaign and multiplayer fixes. Plus, the studio has even promised to have more fixes ready in the near future for some of the problems being encountered in the wild, such as the above invisible Drake problem. With any luck, the developer will be able to implement a smooth launch for Uncharted 4's forthcoming DLC plans.

Have you seen any bugs or glitches as bizarre as the one that makes Elena look crazy? If so, what did they entail? Make sure to share your finds and thoughts in the comments below.
