One Tumblr user has put together a video highlighting the various taunts in Uncharted 4 to the song ‘Cake By The Ocean’, and the end result is nothing short of spectacular.
There’s little doubt amongst gamers and critics that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is one of the, if not the, best games available on PlayStation 4. As it turns out, consumers seem to agree with this sentiment, as the title managed to sell through almost 3 million units within its first week at retail. While developer Naughty Dog is basking in the glory of its recent success – and undoubtedly still finding time to work on additional paid-for content – fans have already begun giving the title additional life through their own videos.
One of the more entertaining ones that caught our eyes (and hearts) is a video that features several members of the main cast busting a myriad of moves. The video in question was pieced together by Tumblr user Baby-Faced Badass, and it features none other than the song ‘Cake By The Ocean’ by DNCE. Regardless of what some may think of the aforementioned tune, there’s no denying how well it works within this Uncharted 4-based instance.
Those hoping to catch a glimpse of Nathan Drake and friends doing super hip dance moves (i.e. The Dab), can check out the below video to scratch that oddly specific itch.
Admittedly, it’s surprising to see Sully get his leg up that high, given his age, but it’s hard to fault the man for being so spry. Jokes aside, the video is quite entertaining, and it just goes to show what the Uncharted community is getting up to in the wake of the latest game’s blockbuster release. It should also be noted that it’s highly unlikely that fans of the franchise will stop making videos of the game, so don’t expect them to be going anywhere anytime soon.
One of the more engaging ways some fans went about paying their respects to Uncharted 4 was through a live-action segment pertaining to Drake saving his wife from a camp of baddies. That particular footage was quite impressive, and there are likely to be even more fan-made spectacles in the near future. For now, however, the fact that our review of Uncharted 4 secured a perfect score should speak to how highly we think of Naughy Dog’s latest.
