With 12 new playable characters, 8 new stages, and much much more, could there possibly be anything left to enhance on this game? Probably, but our minds would explode due to the sheer awesomeness.
The reversible cover art will feature amazing new illustrations from Capcom artist Shinkiro and Marvel’s Mark Brooks. Both pieces (scene below) are remarkably well drawn and just solidifies the sheer epic scale of this infamous crossover title.
Mark Brooks’ alternative cover art features all 12 of the game’s new playable characters in his own style from his experience illustrating the X-Men, Spider-Man, and Young Avengers comics. Both pieces by these talented artists will be printed on a single reversible cover for the entire first run of the game in North America.

Capcom has also launched a brand new Facebook app this week that features the win-quotes from every character revealed so far. The Ultimate Trash Talk App will allow Marvel and Capcom fans to smack talk each other across the social network. If you’re interested, you can find the app – HERE.
It was also revealed that Capcom is pleased to confirm that UMVC3 will be available to own on the PlayStation Vita. The portable version will also include the entire character line-up along with some special bonuses.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for some serious MVC beatdowns with all of these new characters. The more the merrier. How do you like the cover art, pretty neat huh? Are there any additions you think Capcom dropped the ball on or have they met your expectations with this upgrade?
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom is set to release this November for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
